2008-10-16 - We all have those days....
We all have those days that are good but interesting don't we. I was off work today so I decided to clean the house today since I seem to have been neglecting that little aspect. lol! Anyway, so here I am Jamming to Pitbull's Fuego, dancing like an idiot, (hey I'm the only one here so why not, you've done it to and you know it), and cleaning, when all of a sudden the doorbell rings. If I had a video of how far I jumped I could probally win a medal!

Anyway, there's not much for me to update on a friend of mine had her baby girl yesterday, 8 lbs, and named her October Rose. I like it I think it's pretty, and definately different. Other then that thats about it, we skipped out on our bike trip this weekend because my friend is sick so no new pictures, but maybe we will be able to go this weekend!?

2008-10-11 - So far this weekend...
Hey everyone how's it going? Doing good here, just sitting here getting ready to upload the pics from last weekends bike trip and the pics of my tattoo. Last weekend was awesome we saw smiley all kinds of deer we lost count after 50, crazy right?! Anyway, so I'm sitting here watching sister act one and laughing like crazy it's been years since I've seen it.smiley

I want to laugh any time I see or hear something I haven't seen in a few years and find it funny when I hear people my age go "Oh my god! that song is so old, or that movie is so old" and were talking about like brittany spears, n*sync, late 90's early 2000's.

You know things that came out when I was in jounior high, and you see me in the background going, "Jeez people I'm only 20 how old do you think this stuff is?" it's just funny to me. People my age take so much for granted its not even funny.smiley

I know some people who have never left there home town and theres nothing wrong with that but some of them, not all, but some of them are so stuck in there ways it's crazy.  The people I'm talking about are the ones who think that anyone who's different then them are awful or sinful people. Its just sad. If I could ask these people one question it would be...

"Do you think your the only person in the world?"smiley

There is such a large world out there, So many different races, different religions, places to see, and people to meet.  I've been around the world a couple of times and seen things most people dont get to see, and I'm fortuanate to have been able to do these things because you dont meet a lot of people my age who have gotten to do things I have but even then, there are just some people I wish could see exactly how much they really have, and how much they take for granted.

For example, a couple of years ago my family and I took a cruise and one of the places we went to was Costa Maya, Mexico, the city itself was lovely and the tourism is great but if you went just beyond the city it wasn't as pretty as they make it look. The city beyond the city as my sister has grown to call it was little to nothing. You could obviously see the poverty and the troubles these people went through. We were fortunate enough to be able to stop and talk with some of the locals and let me tell you.  These were some of the nicest and most humble people I have ever met.

Even though they have there troubles and they arnt the richest people in the world they were happy with simply being who they were and being alive, of the people we had met and were able to speak with was an elderly lady and her son. We shared lunch with them and learned more about the way things really worked around in the area. It just so happened that around the time we had taken the cruise had been right after those two really big hurricanes had hit the gulf of mexico, it think they were Katrina and Rita, anyway's the woman and her son were telling us about what it was like and how things where really rough around those times but even with that they were very happy.

We learned that if it werent for the tourism to places like Costa Maya and Cousamel, the city's would be nothing, there would be no livelyhood there. Now that I think back on it there is a lot that even I myself take for granted like the things I am able to do and the freedoms I have. What about you guys? Have you ever been to place's were on the outside it's all nice and pretty but when you go a little farther in you realize it's just a cover up of whats really there? Have you met people like the woman and her son who even though they didn't have much they were humble for what they had? Where? What did you learn from it?

anyway, thats all of my little rant for today!  smiley

Wish you guys the best of weekends~!!!~!!!!

2008-10-4 - So an update...

Hello! smileyhope everyone has been doing well!!  It's been a while since I have been on but now that I finally have things settled and everything worked out I believe I will be on a lot more!!  It's currently 11:49 p.m. here and I must say I'm not the slightest tired.smiley I just finished cleaning the house so now I'm siting here at the bar in the kitchen drinking coffee. lol... Coffee at 12 at night probally isn't the best idea but oh well I'm enjoying it I guess thats all that matters, I was also thinking of haveing some ice cream as well but I think I might pass on that!

Probally just on a sugar high...smiley  As for any updated news I'm now living on my own and loving it, my friend and I have taken up biking and travel to different places on the weekends, were planing on going up by the lake this weekend I'll take some pictures and upload them so everyone can see.  I have a new tattoo as well its a white tiger with the kanji for mother under its paw I got it for my mom who (those of you who know me already know this) passed away about 3 years ago. When I upload the lake pictures I'll put one of it up too.smiley

Lets see, anything else...  Oh!, I planted some mums outside the front of the house. (might not seem like much)  but its my first try at my own garden.  I mean of couse I've grown things before but this is the first time I've done it by myself and hopefully everything will turn out right!smiley

Well, I'm guessing thats it for now I'm going to go explore the site some more since things have changed drastically since the last time I was on!!  Thats a good thing though!!!

2007-08-6 - The joys of a hot day...
Its a hundred and three degrees in the lovely big state of Texas. smiley
I've been up since early this morning working in the yard preparing for a
party were haveing in a couple of weeks.  It eventually got to the point
were it was getting to hot to work in the sun.  Its only two and the temps.
just going to get hotter.  Love Texas, hate the heat!!! smiley

Other then my birthday comeing up and school starting soon theres not
much going on.  Found out one of my best friends in Kentuckys haveing
a baby, and another ones getting married.  I've been asked to be a bridesmaid,
and of course I said yes but I also have another wedding where I'm the maid
of honor. So I'm trying to help one plan a wedding and get everything together,
and also now have to worry about the other...    smiley

Its fun though, so its all good.  But now I've run into my problem...   smiley

What in the world do I get for wedding gifts????   smiley

One friend is hard to buy gifts for...  {you should see me at christmas, its hilarious}
and the other already has everything...  I'd get them gift cards or something but
these are the weddings of some of my closest friends so thats NOT going to happen.
I dont know...  smiley

Anyways, got to go...  TTYL....

2007-07-24 - Well 17 days to go...
Man, We've been having problems with our internet the last week
or so!!  One minute it works, the next minute it doesnt...  I've been
meaning to upload some more of the pics from the trip but havent
been able to.  Not only that but I've been busy getting stuff ready
for school which starts next month...  College...  Oh Joy!!   smiley

I recently got a new Laptop so I've been messing around with it alot.
Also getting even more excited about August 31!!  I'm going to a
Def Leppard concert!!  Their my FAV. band!!!!  Hey Jani, thanks for the
tip about the pictures in the blog,  I remember trying it once but my
pictures were Huge!  I'm not really good with stuff like that!

Its funny though, I can do just about anything in Microsoft and
with creating powerpoints and stuff but when it comes to things like
simply putting a picture in right I'm terrible...

Oh!!  Hehe...  I'm counting down...  Only 17 days until my B-day!!!   smiley
It's not a special one just another year to add on but I still like to
make a fuss about it when it starts to role around...  Drives my friends
up the walls!!  Lol...

2007-07-15 - Home sweet home...
Well were finally home...  I uploaded some pictures, last night
but there was a problem with my computer so I have to try
again...  Wow yesterday was a long day!!!  Twelve and a half
hours in a van and it rain almost the whole way...  It was fun
though!!  I love it when your gone for a while and then return
home, its nice to be in your own bed in your own house...

You ever notice when you come home you find something
you forgot to do before you left??  Well I discovered one
of those many things!!  When we got home I found a load
of laundry I had forgotten in the dryer.  Now this would normally
not have been a problem.  Simply cloths that needed to be folded,
right??

Wrong!!

My dumb self forgot to start the dryer!  So let me paint a picture
if you havent already started...  A load of Wet, laundry in a dryer
for two weeks.  I was so shocked!!  But stuff happens, actually at
the time I just laughed.  Thought it was hilarious.

Well not much more to report at the moment.  The nightmare
of unpacking has begun, and were running around like chickens
with our heads cut off...   TTYL>>>!!

2007-07-7 - Dissappointed!!!
Your right Jani it just screams for some great
shots but unfortuantely plans have changed. smiley
When we were in town yesterday afternoon we ran
across the "The Butterfly Palace", When we saw
it, it looked nothing like it was supposed to.
My grandfather took one look at it and decided
then and there we wernt going. So, so much for
that! Once he makes up his mind thats where it
stays.

Which is alright because we also ran into some
people who had been there and they said it
wasnt worth it. Another thing that changed our
minds was back in 2004 we took a trip to Niagra
Falls, as well as the Eastern side of the US and
Canada, as well as Nova Scotia. On our way into
Nova Scotia we went to a butterfly observatory
and although we enjoyed ourselves we wernt very
impressed. (Which reminds me I need to see what
I did with those pictures from the trip and post
a few of them).

So right now I do know were still going to Eureka
Springs and takeing this land and water tour called
The Ducks. Were also going to this place called Stonehill
Winery, and maybe going to this place called Predator
World, its like a giant Zoo and Aquarium, but thats
not for sure. I'll also be keeping a lookout while
were in Eureka Springs for a USB cord for my camera.

I was sort of dissappointed but things like this
happen when your on vacation!! smiley But it
leaves space open for maybe another trip to some
other place. Well not much more for me to write, right
now so type to ya later...

2007-07-6 - Vacation entry three...
Yes I did have a good independence day!! Well sort of,
We ended up haveing some big rainstorms the night of the
fireworks so they cancled until last night, but I ended up
takeing a short nap after a long day which turned into a
long nap, in which I missed the fireworks...

I was sort of dissappointed but its alright!! We ended up
going to this show yesterday that was like a Magic/Comedy
show... They did some pretty amazing things, and all together
it was pretty fun. I took some pictures but I cant tell if
they turned out good until I get home and can look at them
in the bigger picture. I dont think they did but I'll just
have to wait and see.

Have you ever noticed the one thing we all hate to do is
to wait but no matter how much we try to avoid it, it allways
happens???  But I guess paticence is a virture. Right now
I'm really excited about next week!! Were going to this place
called "The Butterfly Palace" in which we get to see all types
of things like a Rainforest full of different types of butterflys,
a place thats like a giant emerald forest maze, and an exotic zoo.
As well as were going to a town called Eureka Springs where theres
all kinds of little shops all in a row, and you all know how I am!!!
I LOVE TO SHOP!!!

2007-07-4 - Vacation entry two...
Yeah Jani your right I might end up running
into something interesting... smiley
I dont go ANYWHERE without my camera. We went to a
nearby lake today and went tubing, swimming,
knee boarding, boating, snorkaling, and all
around had fun!!

I love the way it looked I took some pics of
the lake and surrounding areas but I wish I
would have had an underwater camera!!! When
we went snorkaling, there were HUGE smiley fish
around the cliffs where we were at. And we
lucked out because it was such a nice day
but it wasnt to hot it was sunny with a breeze!

Right now were waiting for it to become dark
so we can go see the fireworks. I think thats
the part my sisters are loveing the most right
now!  I plan on takeing my camera but I dont know
how the pictures will turn out but hey, all I can
do is try and get some nice shots!!

I need to get a better camera smiley but for right now
the one I have will be good enough. Well, thats it
for right now, I have a few things to do around
the house before we leave so...

2007-07-2 - Vacation entry one...
So we've been up here for a few days now
and I'm having a blast, smiley but let me tell you
the way up here is no picnic...  We were
driving up here at night and theres only
two ways to get to the house. Highway 65,
or Highway 7. Everyone says 7 is quicker so
we took 7.smiley

I WILL NEVER TAKE THAT ROAD AGAIN!!! smiley Okay,
let me paint the picture for you...

Its 2 in the morning, your in the middle
of the Ozark mountains, cliffs on either side
of you. One minute your going straight at 65mph,
the next your slowing down to 20 to go around a
90* turn. Upon coming around the turn there
stands a deer right on the road.smiley

Needless to say no one slept smiley on the way up
there!!! All in all we managed to make it
around the curves from hell without hitting
4 deer, 2 cats, 1 possoum, and 1 armidillo.

But after the ride up here things got alot
better!!! The views are awesome and I've gotten
some really nice pictures so far, but... smiley

LoL... there allways seems to be a but! But,
the computers the people have up here are older
so I cant put my memory card from my camera into
the computer, so I cant uplaod any pictures until
I get home. Which really sucks because I had some I
know you guys would enjoy but I guess this is better
because by the time I get home there will be some more
really nice ones. Its only about another 2 weeks so
You'll just have to wait until then...

Well thats all for now, were about to go out on the
lake so I've got to go...

2007-06-28 - And were off....
So plans ended up changing and were leaving three
days early...  yay... smiley *says sarcasticly*... Boy am
I glad I packed.  Ended up saving alot of time!!
I'm glad were leaveing.  I've been anticipating this
trip for the last couple of weeks, ecspecially over
the last few days... I know I'm sort of over reacting
a little but its one of those overdo things!!!

So let me ask you guys something...  Any of you ever
played that DDR game??  My sisters and I are addicted
to it...  We were at this place with the family that was
like an Arcade, mini golf, go garts, you know those
kind of places.  Well, anyway, we were in the arcade and
my oldest youngest sister...  huh... thats just kind of
Ironic...  "Oldest youngest sister"!!  Oh well cant help
it I have 7...  Anyway, we saw it in the arcade and she
asked me to play with her.

So me being the older sister I couldnt refuse!!  Oksy,
truth be told I could have but it even looked fun to me.
So I was like,  "Okay I'm game"...

BIG MISTAKE...

I got my butt KICKED...  And nither of us had ever played
before...  Well, long story short...  The very next day
we were at a game store buying the game on PS2 with 2
dance pads and playing like never before.  Which is kinda
funny cause we hadnt played other then the night before.

We've played so much though now that we're pretty good at
it but not great.  Okay compared to people who play all day
everyday were not geniuses but were pretty good.  We've moved
from begginer to difficult...  I was looking it up on the
internet and I've seen some pretty amazing crap on youtube.
If you've ever played or heard of it just go to youtube, and
type in DDR...

Now for those of you who have played and are ever seen some
people play this game...  There are people who can do this
stuff at like Expert and a speed of 8...  smiley  I'm like,
"O..K.." "I dont even want to know..."

Well, thats it for now...  I'm off to who knows where...

2007-06-26 - The worst part of preparing...
Have you ever noticed that the worst part of
a vacation is the packing? At least thats the
worst part for me... To me after everything is
said and done the worst part is packing...

I never know what to pack! A few exploring
outfits, a few nice outfits, and a few casual
outfits...  But everytime, it always seems you
miss something. I guess thats the joy of vacations
though! Something has to go wrong or not go
as planned, it just wouldnt be a vacation if
something like that didnt happen!!  Lol...

I'm really looking forward to this trip though!
I cant wait to get some good pictures of the
mountains and everything!!

2007-01-31 - Of rainy days and laundry...
Its been pouring down rain the last few days here. I just got
over some kind of cold or something, so now I'm trying to get
caught up on the housework. I find it amazing how much stuff
can get piled up in just a few days, dont you? Everyones had
those days those... I recently saw the movie "Snakes on planes"
I must say its one of the most stupid movies I have ever watched!
I was very dissappointed. I mean it didn't look that promising
to begin with but with it being Samual Jackson, I was expecting
more. Well thats all for me for today I've got alot to do...

2007-01-17 - Just a little email I got...
Here are a few things to think about:

Can you cry under water?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why do you have to "put your two cents in".. but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once you're in heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why does a round pizza come in a square box?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What disease did cured ham actually have?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up like every two hours?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why are you IN a movie, but you're ON TV?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why do doctors leave the room while you change? They're going to see you naked anyway.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why is "bra" singular and "panties" plural?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why do toasters always have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares, why is there a stupid song about him?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can a hearse carrying  a corpse drive in the  carpool lane ?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If the professor on Gilligan's  Island can make a radio out of a coconut, why can't he fix a hole in a boat?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why does Goofy stand erect while Pluto remains on all fours? They're both dogs!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If Wiley E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that ACME crap, why didn't he just buy dinner?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If corn oil is made from corn, and vegetable oil is made from vegetables, what is baby oil made from?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do the Alphabet song and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star have the same tune?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why did you just try singing the two songs above?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why do they call it an asteroid when it's outside the hemisphere, but call it a haemorrhoid when it's in your butt?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog's face, he gets mad at you, but when you take him for a car ride; he sticks his head out the window?

                                                See ya later,

2007-01-16 - Cold Days...
Well, its officially COLD smiley here in Texas, its like 27* and freezeing!!
I just had a chance to see Fearless, and although I liked it, I cant
say I believe its Jet Li's best movie. I liked the fact it was based
on a true story, and the fight scenes were awesome! I started takeing
this Tai Chi class and I'm excited about it. I like the way that when
your done with one lesson your ready for the next, but I like the fact
that its not something easily learned. It gives you a chance to slow
down and actually learn something. Its not easy, or at least I dont
think it is. Well not much for now got to go smiley ringing...

2007-01-10 - Of This and That...
I was looking today through things in my attic and closet
and found that much of what I was looking at was stuff that
I either baught and had thrown here or there, or things
that were given to me that I really had no place for. And
the more I thought about it the more I began to realize
how much junk I really had stored in a place that it most
likely will never leave. I mean I know we all have this
moment when we look back at stuff we bought or were given
and were like: "Why on earth did I buy this?" or when you
find something and someone asks you who gave it to you and
you cant even remember because the last time you saw the
object was 4 years ago... I just find it funny, but I
guess what makes thoe moments worth it are when you find
something you thought was lost and you are just baffeled
that you found it in such a place...  I dont know...

Anyways, I saw a movie today that I was quite pleased with.
Its called The Librarian...  It was quite good, I had seen
the seconed one but not the first, and am now looking into
seeing if there is a third! I hope there is, If you get a
chance I would recemend you see them, but, haha well in the
right order of course...

2006-12-29 - After Christmas...
I dont know how christmas was for you guys but for me it was a
complete mess, I mean yes, it had its good points but boy I have
so much to share!!!  Where to start, lets see, lets start with
christmas eve:

Problems over christmas...

Christmas eve party - Was expecting lots of family members, NO ONE SHOWED
I mean NO ONE, here my family and I spent all the time with the
bakeing and wrapping presents, doubled checked with everyone to
make sure they were able to come and hadn't had any last minute
things come up, and everyone said they'd be there. And no one
came...

Christmas day - I was still sick come christmas morning so I
wasn't in the mood to mess with everyone, and of all the people
to come to the christmas day opening ceremony was one of the most
annoying people I have ever met in my entire life, my "newest" uncle.
He had the "kindness" to tell me that my cooking was terrible, and
that my wrapping left something to be desired, in which my exact reply
was that he didn't have to eat my food, and if he didnt like my
wrapping he could put his present back under the tree and I would
take it back to were it came from and that he could buy his own
damn presents with his own money and wrap them himself. Now after
reading that please do note that normally I would't have said
anything but when I'm sick I have a tendency to be in a bad mood
and you have to agree that his statment was rude!! I mean I can
take constructive? critiszum but that was just plain rude!!!

Okay, so thats all I really have to share. So maybe its not that
much, but anyway...  Oh!!  I am feeling much better, thankyou to
those who wished me to feel better!!! Well thats all for now...
